Most wired switches do not automatically return to the neutral position after raising/lowering. This is why we do not recommend installing a wired switch in parallel with a radio module for roller shutters, to avoid parallel commands and risking the motor overheating.

If it is still important to control your shutter from the wall, we would then recommend placing the module at the same level as the motor, and using a wireless DiO switch.

If you wish to keep the same look as other switches in the room, it would be better to choose the wireless DiO micromodule emitter (54700), to be installed behind the switch that you want and change it into a compatible DiO wireless switch.
