53012 - Wi-Fi Socket - I have changed internet provider and my sockets no longer connect

If your sockets were working before the switch, they are probably not the cause of the problem.

You may have to contact your internet provider to check the settings of your new internet router.

Here are a few notes you should pay attention to:

a) Check your password, this cannot exceed 32 characters;

b) Check the frequency of your Wi-Fi, it must be 2.4 GHz. The sockets won't work with a 5GHz network;

c) The sockets do not accept a Wi-Fi password in WPA2, you need to leave the Wi-Fi open so that they can connect;

d) Check the strength of your Firewall. A strong firewall could block the connection;

e) Check the configuration of the ports on your router

You can also try to reinstall your sockets. In order to do so, follow the steps below:

1) Reset your socket by pressing the button on the side for 5 seconds;
2) Disconnect the sockets from the power for a few minutes;
3) Reconnect your socket to the power, and press the side button (the socket is then in learn mode);
4) In the app, select (+ add Device);
5) In the menu, press "router restart";
6) Follow the instructions on screen;
